Backing in the place market when half of the field in the win market is priced at a certain value
When a horse racing place market turns In-Play, back on the horse that is the favourite in the win market, provided that at least half of the runners in the win market have a certain minimum price.
This is an example of the markets where the triggers would act:
There are four out of eight runners priced at 20.0 or higher (that is the minimum price used in this trigger). The favourite is Tony Dinozzo:
So the trigger backs on Tony Dinozzo in the place market:
In the constants you can set the following parameters:
- min_place_price - Minimum price of the bet in the place market
- min_win_price - Minimum price of the selected percentage of runners in the win market. In the example above, it was equal to 20.0
- runners_perc - Percentage of the field that must meet the price criteria. That is, if you want at least half the runners to be priced at min_win_price or higher, then you set this to 50. If you want only a quarter, then set this to 25.
