While we are all waiting for the 7th version of MarketFeeder Pro where such feature will be implemented, we keep getting questions to our support department as to how to save the value of a user variable for future use after closing and re-opening the program. turbo25666 from our forum suggests a workaround.

Suppose we go through a staking plan that adds 1.0 to the back amount after each bet (regardless of the profit / loss). After a day of trading we need to pick up from exactly the same value of the bet size next time we start the program. Let's name the trigger variable where the bet size will be stored "to_save".

The trick is to add a market that will be on BetFair for at least 24 hours and use its default back/lay/SP amount fields for saving our values between sessions. It's better to choose a market from another sports category, for example if we place bets in a horse race, it should be a soccer "Match Odds" market starting in 1-5 days. It's easy to find such market in "Soccer - Fixtures". Now we can save any 4 numbers in the default bet amount fields.

The trigger file contains 4 triggers:

"Restore value" - loads to_save from the default back SP amount field when the program starts. Note the conditions - it chooses a market starting in 24 hours.
"Example change value" - adds 1.0 to the variable to_save every time a bet is placed.
"Example back" - places a bet with the amount equalling to_save when a market starts being refreshed.
"Save value" - sets the default back SP amount to the value of to_save every 5 seconds.

How to test.

Switch test mode ON ;-)
Add a soccer "Match Odds" market starting in more than 24 hours.
Set the monitoring to start at 5 minutes before the off
Add today's horse racing markets
Place bets in several markets. You can control the value of the variable "to_save" by looking at the "Default Back SP Amount" field of the soccer match.
Close MF Pro.
Re-open Mf Pro and continue from the last saved bet amount.
