- Feeder @ Fri, 28 Aug 2009 16:55 GMTI had to add a stop-loss trigger to reduce possible risks from an unmatched bet.
- toro6386 @ Sat, 29 Aug 2009 07:28 GMTCan you describe the trigger stop-loss? Because this is important because they are not bet unmatched, to improve this excellent trigger. You can also discuss in forum.

- betfair winner @ Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00 GMTHi All This one looks good
But occasionally getting screwed with the stop loss, when there is an unmatched bet
Is there a way of identifying all the bets from this trigger on the statement since when thay are pasted to excel there is no way to tell my own test bets from the ones produced from this trigger. - incognito @ Wed, 04 Jan 2012 09:03 GMTcan someone please help me i have not got a clue how tto use all this please.......

Update: I've added the trigger for laying at back prices.
Place back Dutch bets on selected runners to win or lose a fixed amount, but at their lay prices.
The idea behind this is obviously trying to get the lower book percentage. In overwhelming majority of cases the back book % is always higher than 100%. So backing at lay prices makes the book % less than 100%.

The biggest drawback is the fact that at first all the bets may stay unmatched. But in markets with high liquidity this may be balanced by the possibility to match all the bets either a couple of minutes before the off, or when the market turns In-Play. Of course there are no guarantees whatsoever.

The trigger file contains five triggers: two of them defining the amounts to win or lose, the other two placing bets and the fifth one acting as a stop-loss. Use only one of the backing triggers at a time, as together they will place too many bets. There is no need to change anything in the formulae of the backing triggers. What you may want to modify is the conditions of the triggers. I added only basic ones: checking that the selections I back on are not obvious losers (with prices higher than 200), and that the lay book% is within the range that I think is more or less safe. You are free to remove these and add your own conditions.
The second trigger file, the one for laying at back prices, is built on exactly the same principles, only it places lay bets at back prices, provided that the back book percentage is bteween 100% and 104%.
