Bugs fixed:
1. Error message when settling “Match Odds” markets in test mode manually (“Select Winners”), by setting the score.
2. Real unmatched and matched bets would not be refreshed if “Automatically prevent exceeding limit” was turned off and the request limit set was too low.
3. Occasionally, very rarely, one of trigger conditions might issue an exception which could entail incorrect execution of the trigger.
4. The “overall” flag of the “Affected by trigger” condition was not always saved in trigger conditions.
5. Minor interface tweaks.

We've made a new video lesson on how to make MF Pro bet on the horses suggested by a tipster. So if you receive a tipster's newsletter from time to time, this video should be useful to you.
- Thu, 24 Feb 2011Saving user variable values between sessionsWhile we are all waiting for the 7th version of MarketFeeder Pro where such feature will be implemented, we keep getting questions to our support department as to how to save the value of a user variable for future use after closing and re-opening the program. turbo25666 from our forum suggests a workaround.
Suppose we go through a staking plan that adds 1.0 to the back amount after each bet (regardless of the profit / loss). After a day of trading we need to pick up from exactly the same value of the bet size next time we start the program. Let's name the trigger variable where the bet size will be stored "to_save".
The trick is to add a market that will be on BetFair for at least 24 hours and use its default back/lay/SP amount fields for saving our values between sessions. It's better to choose a market from another sports category, for example if we place bets in a horse race, it should be a soccer "Match Odds" market starting in 1-5 days. It's easy to find such market in "Soccer - Fixtures". Now we can save any 4 numbers in the default bet amount fields.

The trigger file contains 4 triggers:
- "Restore value" - loads to_save from the default back SP amount field when the program starts. Note the conditions - it chooses a market starting in 24 hours.
- "Example change value" - adds 1.0 to the variable to_save every time a bet is placed.
- "Example back" - places a bet with the amount equalling to_save when a market starts being refreshed.
- "Save value" - sets the default back SP amount to the value of to_save every 5 seconds.
How to test.
- Switch test mode ON ;-)
- Add a soccer "Match Odds" market starting in more than 24 hours.
- Set the monitoring to start at 5 minutes before the off
- Add today's horse racing markets
- Place bets in several markets. You can control the value of the variable "to_save" by looking at the "Default Back SP Amount" field of the soccer match.
- Close MF Pro.
- Re-open Mf Pro and continue from the last saved bet amount.

We have made some changes to our pricing model.
In spite of the recent VAT rise (and we are now VAT payers) we have absorbed the damage and did not pass it on our customers. We have in fact added more flexibility to subscriptions, and so now you can choose from the following:
- 7 days - £10
- 1 month (exactly one month, i.e. from the 11th of January to the 11th of February, not 28 days as before) - £29
- 3 months - £59
- 6 months - £99
- Annual subscription - £149.
Naturally, the longer a subscription is, the more you save, making the annual licence the most profitable.
As we have announced previously, we have now abandoned lifetime licences. However we have planned certain transitional arrangements for customers who have already purchased a number of subscriptions before in view of eventually purchasing a lifetime licence. We will make an offer to these customers separately.
We are still working on readjusting the new price models to our partnership with affiliates. But all the necessary changes will be made in due time and all the information will be delivered to affiliates.
Our main priority now is version 7.0, on which we work full time and are starting to really love it.

Due to an unexpected hacker attack on our web site that caused technical problems on the 4th and 5th of January, we decided to extend the holiday promotion till the 7th of January inclusive. Extended Subscriptions
We all know how hectic this time is: after running on shopping marathons, decorating home, visiting relatives and friends and sending postcards you’ve got so little time for yourself and your everyday treats.

Life-Time Licence
We’ve also got important news for those who are planning to purchase a life-time licence. We decided to change our pricing policy and abandon this licence on the 5th of January 2011.
Starting from 2004 when MarketFeeder was first released we have been very devoted to introducing more and more quality features into the product. Those of you who have stayed with us from the very first version have noticed that the software has gone through a series of extreme makeovers. We do plan to keep up the tradition of releasing a new version every 1 – 1.5 years. And we’re not talking about just changing colours and adding a button or two, we’re talking about brand new functionality. Check our plans for version 7.0 coming out next year!
Thus we believe that it is only fair that we replace the life-time licence with an annual subscription, which will still cost less but will justify our efforts.
So it is now your last chance to secure your right to unlimited access to this wonderful and unique software. Get the life-time licence while you still can. On the 5th of January 2011 we will stop offering this option! Remember that if you’re already on a subscription, you may happen to pay less for this licence, depending on the number of subscriptions you’ve purchased.
Please note: this change WILL NOT affect existing life-time licence holders. If you’ve already purchased MF Pro, you are entitled to unlimited free upgrades and technical support. The change will only affect new customers and those who have not taken advantage of this announcement.

Using our SMS service you can send sms alerts from MarketFeeder Pro to your phone with a "send SMS" trigger action. It's really helpful when you leave MarketFeeder Pro unattended and need to know what's happening there.
Let's see how to let yourself know about any bets placed.
Note, the syntax of the message is similar to the "send email" trigger action: if you need MF pro to replace a trigger variable name with its value you should enclose it in square brackets [ ]. If the value of the variable contains a space character, you should also put the name of the variable into quotes.
Voilà, you'll receive an sms just after a bet has been placed:
